Eager, energetic and sharp, 29-year old Pooja Jain, Executive Director of Luxor Writing Instruments, began her career with a training assignment at Gillette, UK, where she was introduced to the concept of a B2B division. No wonder when she came back and joined the family business, she breathed life into the B2B division of Luxor Group in 1998, which has grown rapidly over the year. A graduate from Lady Shri Ram College, Pooja went on to study International Business from London School of Economics. “I encourage a lot of innovative ideas irrespective of cadre and encourage people to be flexible and multi-task our minds. Teamwork is the group strength, building leaders within the organisation is the core strength,” affirms Pooja, who is all set to take her company to the next level of organised stationary retail now. Apart from being an astute businesswoman, Pooja has also taken initiatives in promoting education for the underprivileged children in the country and supports the women’s cause. “Women are the best multitaskers and make for the best homemakers and managers,” she points out.
