For the past four years, he has been with the organisation and it has not taken him much time to realise the need of having more brands in the kitty of S. Kumars. With an objective to thrive in the booming retail industry, Joshi was dreaming of creating a brand that goes beyond the sluggish ambit of S. Kumars. Joshi asserted, “In 2006, we launched Brand House Retail, which is S. Kumars’ foray into the retail industry. We wanted to give our customers more and more global lifestyle services and to bring in brands that are more international. I think fashion is no longer limited to a dress material and there are various potential segments of the textile industry. To enter all these segments, one has to have a globally famous brand and a proper retail presence.”
